Keep Shelter Pets Healthy
Ensuring that shelter pets are as healthy as possible is costly. All animals receive a wellness check when they come into the shelter, including FELV/FIV tests for cats. They also receive de-worming, spaying or neutering, and vaccinations, as needed. While some animals are healthy when they arrive, others are not. Whether they arrive with dental disease, severely matted fur, chronic diseases, mange or eye infections, we are committed to providing the best care possible. The costs of veterinary care, medications and special nutrition continue to increase. Whatever their situation, CASA goes the extra mile to keep each one of our shelter pets healthy.
