Basic needs assistance to families and individuals
2020 has made our services more needed than ever. Families are coming to us out of work and over $10,000 behind in bills. In a typical year, we provide $200-$400 in financial assistance per family and leverage partners and other community supports to stabilize a family. That method for helping is no longer sufficient. Our partner agencies are also struggling to have enough funds. Our agency was not prepared for financial asks of these amounts, but that does not mean our neighbors aren’t still in need. For our community members to maintain the safety and security of their home in order for their children to be able to attend online learning we need your help. We need to build up our emergency funds so we can continue to help families through these unprecedented times as long as we can. Help us ensure families don’t become homeless.
