In 2007 a group of 1,000 volunteers built a 12,000 square foot playground in 5 days and called it Freedom Park. This park is loved and used by kids of all ages. Freedom Park is built on donated land rather than public or county-owned land and as such is subject to taxes and ongoing maintenance costs which average over $10,000 per year. Financial donations to the park and the kindness of volunteers are the only means available to cover the increasing cost and maintenance such as mowing & playground repairs.
This park was built by the community - for the community - now we need your help to make sure that vision can continue.
