Sunny days are great at the “Best Lil’ Fair in the West”, but wouldn’t it be nice having some shade from the sun while enjoying entertainment on the Viking Stage?
3rd times a charm here with Giving Tuesday. We are so close to meeting our goal and finally getting the shade at the stage our community deserves. We propose to provide UV compliant shade for the entire patron seating area in front of the Viking Main Stage. The area around the main stage is currently fully exposed to the sun ….. all day long. Not only will this shade limit the “eye squinting” by spectators, it will limit exposure to harmful UV rays. Our goal is to purchase and erect shade that will provide protection from excessive exposure to the sun.
