Citizens Against Domestic & Sexual Abuse

Bullying Prevention in Schools

To advocate with compassion for survivors of domestic and sexual abuse, educate the public about such forms of abuse, develop programs to help prevent abuse in the future and provide leadership on issues of concern to many of our community members.

Description of Services

CADA is Island County's sole domestic violence and sexual assault agency. We provide free, confidential assistance for survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, rape, child sexual abuse and sexual harassment. Services include crisis intervention, advocacy-based counseling, legal advocacy, medical advocacy, emergency shelter, support groups, parenting classes and community education and prevention. Advocates work in partnership with clients to identify and address a wide variety of client needs and to provide crisis assistance, including emotional support, safety planning, shelter options, and community referrals. CADA also operates a crisis line that is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, for victims to talk to an advocate.
