Each year, around 450 pets find their way to CASA. Before they become adoptable, we prioritize a healthy start through comprehensive vetting. This includes spaying and neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and wellness exams. Many of the animals arriving at CASA have not been spayed or neutered, CASA spays and neuters about 200 shelter pets annually. Spaying and neutering shelter pets not only promotes a healthy life, but also helps prevent further contributions to the growing homeless pet population.
