The SHS band is making a comeback!
After several years of reduced enrollment due to Covid, we have nearly 100 students participating in the instrumental music program this year and we anticipate further growth in the years ahead. Our instrument inventory is struggling to keep up with numbers and we need to add several items to maintain our performance level. We use a variety of instruments to add color and depth to the music we perform. This year, we need to purchase a tenor saxophone and an oboe. These instruments are quite expensive and not as commonly available. By having them available through the school, we can provide access to quality instruments to more families and continue to build the program.
