Mission
SAFE believes it to be our urgent responsibility to build equity and equality by unlearning, learning, and sharing our skill sets to eradicate racism, discriminations and microaggressions that lead into systemic oppression.
Description of Services
S.A.F.E.’s work is guided by the importance of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and the empowerment of historically marginalized voices.
We partner with community members to promote DEI within local organizations, businesses and events.
We provide DEI education, guidance, training and support.
We host and facilitate community conversations around subjects such as racism, equity and systemic oppression.
We support a local book club that discusses topics including Racial Identity, LQBTQ+, Civil Rights, Trans Identity and other important issues.
We provide safe spaces for our marginalized community members to share their experiences. S.A.F.E. believes that through this work, we can be a community where all are truly heard and celebrated.
